My name is Michael Batty and I graduated from The University of Manchester in 2004 with a degree in Geology. I hope to study for a PhD in September 2006 but until then I am working as a library assistant. My interest in Alderley Edge began a couple of years ago and I decided to publish a web site in order to share what I have learnt. I think that the Edge is a very relaxing, scenic and interesting place to visit and hopefully my site does it justice.
