Devil's Grave

 

The Devil's Grave is a small, narrow excavation which follows a WNW - ESE fault at Stormy Point (fig. 1). The working opens up into a small stope on the southern side which was created to extract the malachite and azurite bearing mudstone [17]. There is little evidence of pick-work and although the exact age of this mine is not known, it is likely to be one of the older workings on the Edge [17].
